You may choose to pay the remaining balance at any time prior to your event. However, the full balance must be paid before setup can begin.
Q: Does the price include setup and delivery?
A: Yes, the price displayed includes delivery, setup, and takedown of the inflatables. However, additional fees may apply for locations further from Elizabeth City. Please note that prices do not include sales tax.
Q: Do you deliver to other cities?
A: Yes, we do. However, please be aware that a travel fee may apply depending on your distance from Elizabeth City, NC. You can view the cost during checkout or call our office for a current quote.
Q: How long are your rentals?
A: We typically set up the morning of your event between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Pickup is after 8:00 AM the following day. In some cases, we may deliver your rental a day early at no additional charge.
Q: We've rented dirty inflatables in the past. Are they always like that?
A: No. Your inflatable will be clean upon delivery. Coastal Inflatables cleans and disinfects every unit after each rental. We take pride in offering the cleanest inflatables in the area and strive for excellence in every aspect of our service.
Q: Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?
A: Yes. A blower continuously supplies air to keep the inflatable inflated. If unplugged, it will deflate. We require a power outlet within 75 feet of the setup area, or a generator. Longer cords can trip breakers, so we provide heavy-duty 10-gauge extension cords. You can unplug it when you are done for the night.
Q: What about parks? Do they have electricity?
A: We enjoy setting up at parks; however, most parks do NOT have electricity. If you're planning a park event, you must rent a generator. Please note: we do NOT set up in parks located in Virginia.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash and credit cards. If paying with cash, please have exact change, as our drivers do not carry cash.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes. All orders require a deposit of 15% of your order total that must be paid with a credit/debit card, which is applied toward the total rental cost. You can make payments anytime but your balance must be paid in full before set-up.
Q: How big are the inflatables?
A: Most of our inflatables are approximately 15 ft x 30 ft. Please review the space requirements listed with each unit, as some inflatables are VERY large and require additional space. Always measure your setup area to ensure a proper fit. Space requirements include room for stakes, the blower, and safe clearance from walls, trees, or other obstacles.
If you have stairs or a tiered yard, please contact us to discuss setup options.
Q: What about larger inflatables? Any special requirements?
A: Yes. Please review the specific requirements listed with each unit. You must have at least a 4-foot-wide access path to the setup area. Some inflatables can weigh up to 650 pounds, so a clear, unobstructed path is required.
Q: Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
A: Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Q: Are we responsible if the inflatable is damaged?
A: Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear. Over time, seams may develop minor tears in high-use areas—if this happens, please notify us immediately.
However, if damage occurs due to negligence or failure to follow safety rules (for example, not turning off the blower during high winds), you will be responsible for repair or replacement costs, which can be substantial.
